Learn to take your students — no matter how young — anywhere from outer space to the Sistine Chapel to classrooms in other states and countries. I will show how my 2nd grade students harness the power of student-led social media accounts to connect with experts and other classrooms globally. I will do a live Google Hangout with my students during this session. I will also discuss options to safely encourage virtual, cost-free exploration and eliminate limitations to student access. You will leave this session ready to empower students to connect virtually to “share their story” and bring the world to your classroom.
