With the implementation of 1:1 devices at our school, we identified a need to educate our students on responsible and effective use of technology for academic purposes. In 2014-2015 we piloted a digital literacy class that included digital citizenship and digital research infused with various software and web-based applications. Topics will include (but are not limited to) cyberbullying, digital reputation, digital research, creator's rights, strategic searching, and identifying high-quality sites.
