Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Non-core classes have a unique opportunity to incorporate problem-based learning into their classrooms to help students delve into today's issues. PBL is student centered and a great way to integrate technology into your classroom. Hear how wellness students at Eastview High School are working together as they try to solve real-world problems (e.g., preventing HIV, drug use, and suicide). In addition, you'll understand how PBL is increasing critical thinking, as well as research, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills. Learn what goes into this class, the organization behind it, and how we've utilized a classroom set of Chromebooks to increase student engagement.
