MakerSpaces & Design Thinking: Leading with Why

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

MakerSpaces are an emerging trend, but they are not merely about tools and space. We will examine constructivism, design thinking, and the art of criticism to demonstrate that these concepts are nothing new, but are an integral part of the maker movement. This session will look at how design thinking helps students become resilient creators and thoughtful critics. You will also take away tips and real-life experiences to help you think about setting up your own school MakerSpace.
