Maker Stations: Teaching Conservation & Creativity

Children typically have the impression that there is "always more". In this session, you will explore the idea of having Maker Station projects with limitations. The aim is to teach children that there isn't always "more" to be had (due to limited resources), and that sometimes in life, there is only one chance to get something accomplished. We try to give our students more chances to succeed; however, we also need to give our students the chance to experience boundaries and limitations in order to develop creative thinking and resourcefulness.
