Adolescents are constantly making and sharing video products with one another. As educators, we can use video to allow students 24/7 access to instruction. More importantly, we can allow and encourage our students to use video to help them learn, express their ideas, and share their knowledge. During the poster session Dawn and her son, Spencer, will display some student-created video products and offer guidance on making videos using a variety of tools including Lego Stop Motion Movie Maker, DoInk Green Screen, iMovie, Show Me and Tellagami. Dawn can also talk about how videos can be used as formative and summative assessments.
