TIES 2015

Come hear how students from Mound Westonka High School and the Westonka DECA chapter planned, organized, and launched the 170 Days of #MWHSPride positive social media campaign in 2014. Through the use of Twitter, Hootsuite, Facebook, and Blogger the campaign had more 35,000 page views and reached 35 countries on six continents. This session will share lessons learned, logistics, promotion, and implementation of a successful student-led campaign. Participants will come away with knowledge of how to design and build a successful, positive, student-led social media campaign.
