In this session, I will present two different platforms that students can use to create art using either mathematical equations or coding. The first platform is Desmos, an online graphing calculator whose bright colors and simple to use interface makes beautiful drawings. You will learn the basics of Desmos and create a drawing of your own. The second platform is Code Studio Artist, a drawing program that uses block-based coding to create shapes and patterns. You will practice using code to create your own artwork. You will want to bring a device you can use to try these two platforms.
