TIES 2015

Create a student tech team in a 1:1 environment in order to empower students, create positive feedback around your 1:1 initiative, offer all-day in-person tech help for teachers and students, increase your students' tech skills, and keep yourself and your district techs available for other projects. This session will share the rationale behind this plan, the steps to making it successful, and the possible pitfalls to avoid. We will also address activities beyond the help desk including MakerSpaces and coding. Schedules, planning documents, and curriculum will be shared. The student tech team will be present along with media specialist.
