Art is everywhere, even in math! In this hands-on session, you will take the role of a 5th grade student to experience learning about graffiti art and the time lapse movie production media artform while also incorporating 5th grade high-priority geometry math benchmarks! This Saint Paul Public Schools’ DigitalWorks unit is easily transferable to various grades and contexts, and is a creative, innovative, and student-centered way of engaging students in their learning.
