Westonka Technology Interns are students who support and repair the 1:1 Chromebook initiative in the Westonka School District. Launched in fall 2014, the students have repaired all damaged devices and supported the secondary teachers and students in the Westonka School District. Students are allowed to select a WTI Pathway Project (similar to Google’s 20% time) to work on in their spare time. You will bring back to your district an outline of how to start a program in your own district and hear from some of the students in the program how this class has impacted their lives.
