TIES 2015

We will be going through different ways to create cohesive professional development (PD) in the area of technology. We will review ways that we have created PD opportunities in a Summer Technology Institute and Technology “Tracks”, how we have used district data (Brightbytes) to drive our instruction, and how we increase capacity in teachers by creating comprehensive PD opportunities that bring teachers through a complete curriculum on a topic vs. PD provided as needed. By completing these comprehensive PD opportunities, we are creating teacher leaders who take their knowledge back to their schools to teach others.
