Scratch 2.0 is an excellent, free, web-based, graphical programming tool developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that supports digital age learning, the National Educational Technology Standards for Students, 21st century skills (technology literacy), and content standards. You will learn the basics of using Scratch 2.0, learn and reflect on how Scratch supports technology literacy and content standards, explore available tutorials and resources, and see examples of how elementary and middle school students can use Scratch 2.0 across the curriculum, creating and sharing interactive stories, games, and animations.
