Transitioning to the Self-Paced Classroom

In this session, we will briefly describe our journey to the self-paced classroom. We will demonstrate our classroom management methods, curriculum changes, and impact on student learning. Following this demonstration, we will open ourselves up for questions and work time. Many teachers coming to sessions such as this already know they want to make the transition to a self-paced classroom, but have a lot of questions. Demonstrating our journey and answering questions would be extremely helpful for participants. We would encourage teachers to come to our session with standards and work to reference when given time.
