This IGNITE session focuses on how to actively engage students during downtime in a way that promotes student growth and learning while refining their digital prowess and taking differentiation into consideration. In today’s world of fast-paced self learners sitting alongside high-needs students, it’s critical to provide structured curricular activities whenever, and to whomever, downtime presents itself. With an emphasis on the variation of learners in today’s classroom, we’ll discuss what we’re doing in 8th grade at North Junior High to keep our students actively engaged in learning after they’re “finished”.
