Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Critical thinking is essential to learning, and a foundational skill for 21st century education. In this session we will investigate the role technology can play in increasing critical thinking in our teaching and learning. Attendees will be provided with web tools and apps that help: build meaning and logical connections, identify and evaluate arguments, detect reasoning and problem solving inconsistencies, evaluate relevance and importance of ideas, and reflect on one's own values and beliefs. Examples will be provided for all grade levels and subject areas, and the focus will be on increasing critical thinking experiences in school activities.
