Popularly referred to as "fantasy football for social studies and literacy standards,"Fantasy Geopolitics is a social learning game that follows countries as they compete for news headlines and development goals. Students draft teams of countries, follow those countries in the news and adjust their lineups, automatically scoring points every time their countries are mentioned in the New York Times and when global news tone reflects positive actions. It's a better way to follow and interact with news and is improving engagement and test scores in classrooms around the U.S. and the world.
