I teach first grade at Jefferson Elementary in New Ulm, Minnesota. I attended TIES for the first time last year (2014) with a colleague and was amazed at the opportunities that we can create for students using STEAM in our elementary school. I help to run a STEAM program called Monday Makers with my teammate, Beth Sletta.
